Nebraska high school football: Week 3 schedule, scores

This week's Nebraska high school football schedule is headlined by No. 8 Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland) traveling to No. 7 Aurora Friday. Coming off losses to powerhouse programs last weekend, both squads are looking to rebound against a quality opponent.

Drake Zimmerman tallied 259 yards of total offense and three touchdowns but that wasn't enough for Ashland-Greenwood in a 28-21 loss to Wahoo. Aurora fell to No. 2 Boone Central 42-7.

Three other contests featuring ranked teams going head-to-head are on this week's slate.

Coming off of a 45-0 shutout win over Grand Island, top-ranked Omaha Westside travels to No. 21 Bellevue West (Bellevue) who knocked off Burke (Omaha) 41-28.

The other two games feature No. 24 Battle Creek trying to nab a road win from No. 10 Ord while No.17 Malcolm will try to remain unbeaten when it travels to No. 19 Oakland-Craig (Oakland) on Friday.
