Softball Recap: Knightstown Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Knightstown can now relate to. They lost 6-0 to the Tri Titans on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost four in a row.

Knightstown's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Tri, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-5.

Knightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri, they will face off against South Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
