Baseball Recap: Pearl City's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Pearl City fell victim to Forreston and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 10-0. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pearl City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kip Martens, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Pearl City's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9. As for Forreston, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4.

While Pearl City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
