Baseball Recap: Miami Christian Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Miami Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Victors in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won four in a row.

Carlos Sanchez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Kevin Bruno was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Miami Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-13. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Schoolhouse Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Miami Christian has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Florida Christian on the 10th. As for Schoolhouse Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Brito on the 16th.
