Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Tigers are ranked 355th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Vincent's earned a 45-36 win over Toombs County on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

St. Vincent's has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Savannah Country Day, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
