It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Dassel-Cokato ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Central Raiders 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since May 17, 2024.

Dassel-Cokato saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Raisanen, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Raisanen has brought in this season.

Dassel-Cokato's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dassel-Cokato will take on Rockford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
