There's no place like home for Pace, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Booker T. Washington Wildcats 3-2. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats on Thursday, too.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pace got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 21-25, 25-18, 13-25, 15-6.

The victory got Pace back to even at 1-1. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pace and Booker T. Washington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Patriots are set to face off against their familiar foe Gulf Breeze at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington will challenge rival Choctawhatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
