Softball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Ramona Bulldogs

Fallbrook is 0-10 against Ramona since May of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Warriors will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Fallbrook has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fallbrook came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Vista, falling 15-4.

Madyson Hayes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Ramona was able to grind out a solid win over Escondido on Monday, taking the game 5-1. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Braelyn Bolen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

On the hitting side, Savanna Rhea was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Ramona's record is now 8-12-1. As for Fallbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1.

Fallbrook couldn't quite get it done against Ramona in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-1. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
