Soccer Recap: Chesapeake Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Chesapeake was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Town Titans. Chesapeake were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as New Town apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chesapeake's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for New Town, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Coincidentally, Chesapeake and New Town will both be playing Woodlawn the next time they take the pitch. The Bay Hawks will head out to face the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on October 8, while the Titans will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on October 10.
