Boston Latin is a perfect 7-0 against Waltham since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolfpack will be playing at home against the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Boston Latin is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Boston Latin Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 8-4 to the Dragons.

Ava Enright was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cortney Lenz, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Wayland hit Waltham with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks came up short against the Warriors, falling 12-6.

Laila Drouillard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Boston Latin's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Waltham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Boston Latin has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Waltham struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Everything went Boston Latin's way against Waltham in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Boston Latin made off with a 12-1 victory. Do the Wolfpack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
