Nestucca barely beat Neah-Kah-Nie the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats blew past the Pirates 29-9 on Tuesday. The Bobcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Nestucca got a massive performance out of Rylee Armstrong, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Armstrong has posted since back in May of 2024. Peyton Olson was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Nestucca always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .850. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Nestucca's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Nestucca Bobcats take on Gervais Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Neah-Kah-Nie, they will head out to square off against Portland Adventist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
