Dance's big performance that evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ricky Skinner, who had 11 points.
Gates County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Currituck County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Gates County and Northeastern will round out the year against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Currituck County, they will be home for the holidays to greet Perquimans County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
