Jp Powell Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Miller County's Jp Powell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Powell rushed for 98 yards on only 11 carries.

Powell is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Mitchell County on Friday. Powell rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

While Jaylin Perry delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Terrell County. Perry was dynamite, picking up 15 receiving yards.

The second Miller County player making an appearance here is Dru Johnson, and for good reason. He threw for 26 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Mitchell County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Thomas. Thomas picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in September of 2023.
