Volleyball Game Preview: Cathedral Fighting Irish vs. Lake Central Indians

After both having extra time off, the Cathedral Fighting Irish and the Lake Central Indians will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Cathedral sitting on five straight victories and Lake Central on ten.

Cathedral is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Cathedral's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jake Werne, who had nine digs and seven assists, and Cael Persic, who had ten digs.

Meanwhile, Lake Central faced Washington Township in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Senators.

Cathedral better keep an eye on Nelko Dragulski. He was instrumental in Lake Central's win, getting ten assists and six digs.

Cathedral's record is now 30-5. As for Lake Central, their record now sits at 29-6.
