Basketball Game Preview: Round Lake Panthers vs. North Chicago Warhawks

The Round Lake Panthers will head out to challenge the North Chicago Warhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Lake is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-43, which was the final score in Round Lake's tilt against Streamwood on Monday.

Meanwhile, North Chicago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 68-51 to Lake Forest Academy. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 507th, while the Caxys are ranked 84th).

North Chicago's defeat dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Round Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-23.

Round Lake was taken down by North Chicago 66-36 when the teams last played back in January. Can Round Lake avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
