Cimarron-Memorial had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Durango Trailblazers 21-12. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  22-7  back in March.
 Kennedy Carmona was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Billie Wile, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 Carmona wasn't the only one making solid contact: Cimarron-Memorial  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Durango only managed seven  hits.
The  win  got Cimarron-Memorial back to even at 6-6. As for Durango, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Coming up, Cimarron-Memorial will welcome Desert Pines  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Durango, they will challenge Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.62  runs per game on average), something the Trailblazers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
