Football Game Preview: Twin Lakes Indians vs. Peru Tigers

It was another big night for Cooper Dold, who rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 45 yards and one TD. His passing game has become a key predictor of Twin Lakes' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Dold was just one part of a punishing run game: Twin Lakes was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 350 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peru). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northwestern 41-14. Peru not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13, 2024 (when they won 48-14).

Peru's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Twin Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
