Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles suffered their biggest loss since April 8th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Beavercreek Beavers. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

While St. Charles ultimately came up short, they really made Beavercreek work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-23.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Beavercreek, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

St. Charles will be playing at home against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beavercreek, they will head out on the road to face off against Fairmont at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
