Evans has gone a perfect 6-0 against South Effingham recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will head out to challenge the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Evans' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Lake Oconee Academy as they made off with a 4-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Evans.

They hit Lake Oconee Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kennedi Hodges (2), Sadie Morningstar, and Sydney Miller.

Meanwhile, South Effingham hadn't done well against Glynn Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Mustangs who were credited with the victory. South Effingham got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Glynn Academy's two.

South Effingham's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Evans, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Evans came out on top in a nail-biter against South Effingham when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
