Football Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Harlem's Winning Streak

Harlem fell victim to Hononegah and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 20-0. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Huskies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harlem didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Madison King and Taelar Washington. Washington is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

Harlem has already played their next match, a 21-12 loss against Lake Zurich on the 12th. As for Hononegah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-0 win against Antioch on the 11th.
