Volleyball Recap: Erie Red Devils vs. Fredonia Yellowjackets
Erie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fredonia Yellowjackets. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.
Erie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Fredonia, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-10.
Erie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory vs. Bluestem on the 26th. As for Fredonia, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Cherryvale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
