Flag Football Recap: Evans Takes a Loss

Evans lost against Grovetown back in October and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights lost to the Warriors at home by a 24-6 margin. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Warriors are ranked 14th).

Chloe Crawley threw for 57 yards and one touchdown. Kyleigh Chase was her top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and one score.

Evans is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8. As for Grovetown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Coincidentally, Evans and Grovetown will both be playing Westside the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
