Volleyball Game Preview: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights vs. Red Rock Central Falcons

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton is a perfect 6-0 against Red Rock Central since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 14 games.

Last Monday, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton made easy work of Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Red Rock Central duked it out with Southwest Minnesota Christian on Monday. The Falcons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since September 18th.

Red Rock Central got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 32-30, 20-25, 20-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Red Rock Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-16.
