Basketball Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

Coronado lost against Sierra Canyon back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Coronado Cougars came up short against the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, falling 78-58.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Sierra Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Coronado will take on Campbell Hall in a tournament on Wednesday. One thing working in Campbell Hall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Sierra Canyon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Millikan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
