Baseball Recap: Mcalester Drops Highest Score of Season Against Antlers

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McAlester). They put the hurt on the Antlers Bearcats with a sharp 15-9 win on Saturday. The Buffaloes not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th.

McAlester is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Antlers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

McAlester has already played their next contest (against Rattan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Antlers, they will venture away from home to challenge Atoka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
