Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnson Central). They were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over the Lewis County Lions on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Eagles as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Johnson Central's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Lewis County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-21.

Johnson Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lewis County, they will venture away from home to challenge Raceland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
