The Amanda Elzy Panthers will square off against the Palmer Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Amanda Elzy came up short against Grenada and fell 59-51. The Panthers have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Palmer also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Leflore County by a score of 52-44. The loss put an end to the Dragons' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Palmer fell to 2-1. As for Amanda Elzy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Amanda Elzy couldn't quite get it done against Palmer in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 55-44. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
