Basketball Recap: Falfurrias Takes a Loss

Falfurrias was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Orange Grove Bulldogs, falling 70-20. The match marked the Fightin' Jerseys' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Falfurrias' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Orange Grove, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Falfurrias will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop at 11:00 a.m. on December 31st. Bishop has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Orange Grove will take on San Diego in a holiday battle at at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
