Lamar County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They claimed a resounding 59-20 victory over the Towers Titans. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Lamar County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was JaZiyah Foster out in front who posted 11 points along with six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Bleu Leverett, who earned ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Lamar County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points over those games. As for Towers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-19.

Lamar County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-65 victory against Jasper County on the 13th. Towers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
