Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Bulldogs vs. Wheatmore Warriors

Trinity hasn't had much luck against Wheatmore recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Southwestern Randolph on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Trinity took a blow against Southwestern Randolph, falling 70-21. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-11.

Meanwhile, Wheatmore came up short against Randleman on Friday and fell 40-29. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Wheatmore suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Trinity took a serious blow against Wheatmore in their previous matchup back in January, falling 52-17. Can Trinity avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
