Football Recap: Arbor View Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Basic, Arbor View was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 7-6 photo finish over the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners. The Aggies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Roadrunners, too.

Priscilla Garcia threw for 125 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of her passes. Miranda Reiter was her top target, picking up 54 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Danielle Morales rushed for 52 yards on only seven carries.

When it comes to explaining why Southeast Career Tech lost, don't look at Leyla Randolph. Despite the final result, she rushed for 76 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 87 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Randolph has posted in her last nine games.

Arbor View now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Southeast Career Tech, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Arbor View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 33-19 win against Clark on the 21st. As for Southeast Career Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-6 victory against Basic on the 21st.
