Basketball Recap: Foard Finds Home Court Redemption Against St. Stephens

There's no place like home for Foard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the St. Stephens Indians on Monday as they made off with a 50-27 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Jessica Bailey had a dynamite game, shooting 7-for-12 from deep and dropping a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Addy Lael was another key player, going 5-for-12 on her way to 10 points along with eight boards and five steals.

The win got Foard back to even at 1-1. As for St. Stephens, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Foard will face off against Hibriten at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for St. Stephens, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Iredell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
