Basketball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon was the 46-40 winner over Calamus-Wheatland when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lisbon Lions came up short against the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors on Friday, falling 44-24. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Calamus-Wheatland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Lisbon will challenge Easton Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Easton Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lisbon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they will face off against Prince of Peace Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calamus-Wheatland is facing Prince of Peace Prep at the right time seeing as Prince of Peace Prep is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
