On Monday Jaren Scott struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. The effort marked the most strikeouts Scott has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the season, he has an ERA of 5.78 over 26.7 innings pitched.

Coming up, Scott and Page will square off against Holbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sand Devils haven't beaten the Roadrunners recently, having gone 0-6 since April of 2016.
