Volleyball Recap: Vinton-Shellsburg Takes a Loss

Vinton-Shellsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hudson Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Vinton-Shellsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hudson, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Vinton-Shellsburg will take on rival Clear Creek-Amana at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hudson is set to challenge their familiar foe Denver at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
