Baseball Recap: Evergreen Vikings vs. Otsego Knights
If Evergreen was feeling good off their 12-0 takedown of Delta last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Evergreen Vikings fell victim to a rough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Otsego Knights on Thursday. Evergreen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Otsego apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
For Otsego's part, Devin Silva made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Silva was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Otsego let Bodde Simon and Mason Roe loose on the outfield.
