Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Fremont Tigers, falling 83-46. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 918th, while the Tigers are ranked 224th).

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Fremont, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will welcome Oakland Military Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fremont, they will square off against Castlemont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
