 The Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with  a   66-56  win over Whiteland  on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 Franklin Community's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Micah Davis, who  scored 33 points along with six  assists and six  rebounds. Davis hasn't dropped below 19 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was  Kolt Nelson, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 12  rebounds.
 The  win  made it two in a row for Franklin Community and  bumps their season record up to 17-4. As for Whiteland, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
 Franklin Community and East Central will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on March 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Franklin Community knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 contests -- so hopefully East Central likes a good challenge. Whiteland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
