Pleasant Grove owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pittsburg Pirates as Pleasant Grove made off with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Hawks have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pleasant Grove pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Pittsburg, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
