Basketball Recap: Logan/Palco's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Logan/Palco won the last time they faced Wheatland-Grinnell, and Rhett Kats did his part to make sure it happened again. Logan/Palco took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 76-28 victory over the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks thanks in part to Kats, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 38 points and 11 steals. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Ethan Gaschler was another key player, putting up three points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two).

The win made it two in a row for Logan/Palco and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Logan/Palco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-39 victory against Ellis on the 13th. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-33 loss against Rawlins County on the 13th.
