Football Game Preview: North Lincoln Knights vs. Bunker Hill Bears

The North Lincoln Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Bunker Hill Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses apiece.

North Lincoln is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Bandys last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Knights came up short against the Trojans, falling 47-23.

North Lincoln might have lost, but man, Landen Agee was a machine: he rushed for 216 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Agee showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.

Even if they lost, North Lincoln's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Angel Outlaw was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

Meanwhile, Bunker Hill lost to Foard at home by a 21-7 margin on Friday.

North Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bunker Hill, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-7.
