Soccer Recap: Carlynton Takes a Loss

Carlynton lost against Serra Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Eagles. Carlynton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Carlynton's loss dropped their record down to 1-13-2. As for Serra Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Carlynton will square off against South Allegheny at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Carlynton will be up against South Allegheny's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.94 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Serra Catholic, they will face off against Yough at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
