Volleyball Recap: Caldwell Takes a Loss

Caldwell's tournament run continued when they took on Oak Ridge on Friday. The Hornets fell 2-0 to the War Eagles. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reese McManus paced Caldwell's offense, picking up seven kills. McManus got some help from Lydia Giese and her eight assists.

Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Oak Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Caldwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sachse on the 29th. As for Oak Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Willis on the 29th.
