Football Recap: D.C. Everest's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Eau Claire North last Friday, D.C. Everest came back down to earth. The Evergreens came up short against the Chippewa Falls Cardinals on Friday, falling 35-14. The matchup marked the Evergreens' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, D.C. Everest still got an impressive performance from Corbin Enzenroth, who rushed for 156 yards and one TD. Enzenroth's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards.

With the loss, D.C. Everest broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Chippewa Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, D.C. Everest is taking a road trip to square off against Stevens Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chippewa Falls, they will host Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
