Basketball Recap: Canyon Lake Victorious

Fredericksburg lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gage Bryant, who posted 12 points and three steals. Those three steals gave Bryant a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matthew Monger, who scored seven points in addition to ten boards and three blocks.

Canyon Lake is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Fredericksburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-10.
