Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Comes Up Short

Lincoln-Way West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lincoln-Way Central Knights. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

Lincoln-Way West's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they pushed their record up to 16-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lincoln-Way West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hinsdale Central on the 2nd. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Yorkville on the 2nd.
