Football Game Preview: Dixie Flyers vs. Highland Rams + Official Tickets

The Dixie Flyers are taking a road trip to challenge the Highland Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dixie has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with five straight losses, while Highland will come in with six straight victories.

Dixie is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Snow Canyon on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Flyers came up short against the Warriors, falling 34-13. The Flyers were down 31-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Although Dixie took the loss, they still got scores from Kasel Berezay and Jacob Malufau.

Meanwhile, Highland took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 49-21 win over Jordan. Considering the Rams have won three contests by more than 27 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Highland's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cortland Angstman and Matt Fotheringham, who racked up four sacks between them.

Dixie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
