Boone is a perfect 3-0 against Lake Buena Vista since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Braves will be home for the holidays to greet the Vipers at 7:30 p.m. Boone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.9 points per game this season.

On Friday, Boone was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-46 to Winter Park. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Wildcats are ranked 144th).

Despite their loss, Boone saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryce Deas, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. Thanks to that strong game, Deas now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy. Connor Summer was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight boards and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Lake Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-34 loss at the hands of Apopka.

Lake Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Boone strolled past Lake Buena Vista when the teams last played back in January by a score of 70-52. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vipers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
