There's no place like home for Elmwood-Murdock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Palmyra Panthers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted against the Panthers since October 14, 2021.

Elmwood-Murdock had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Annie Backemeyer paced Elmwood-Murdock's offense, picking up 14 kills. Backemeyer got some help from Lucy Backemeyer and her 24 assists. Lucy also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Brooklyn Mans, each putting up two.
