St. Francis strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand the Franklin Wildcats a 13-0 shutout. The Troubadours' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last three contests.

Natalia Zitelli was nothing short of spectacular: she rushed for 73 yards and one score on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards she has posted since back in October of 2024.

St. Francis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tayli Paeu-Lindgren and Monet Zauner.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

St. Francis has already played their next game, a 27-6 victory against River City on the 27th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-12 win against Lincoln on the 28th.
